Just-4-Fun

This is a collection of work that didn’t quite make the portfolio tab but still earned a little feature on my website. It’s definitely a mixed bunch including type design based on my ugly dog, rebranding an NFL team, and a few commercial spots that required quite a bit of finesse to shoot.

Hopefully you enjoy seeing some bonus material from my career thus far.

TYPEF - ACE

This is a typeface I designed from scratch based around my fugly little dog, Ace.

We bought him as a purebred Chihuahua back in 2012 but we found him on Craigslist so “purebred” is just a loose suggestion.

Each letter includes parts of his physical features like his lumpy head or linebacker shoulders with an itty-bitty waist.

Rebranding the Cleveland Browns

While I am definitely more of a Cincinnati Bengals fan (shout out to Joe Burrow), they are already killing the Browns as far as branding goes. As an Ohio girl at heart, I had to help them out a bit with a little branding revamp.

By bringing back the white silhouette motifs inspired by old Madden games and incorporating player card style posters at the stadium, we refreshing the team’s brand without loosing that classic Americana football feel.

New york keeps you Young

There’s this saying about New York that claims “it’s a city for young people”. As someone who has came from the midwest and moved to the city, the older people I see everyday carrying groceries to their apartments or riding Citi bikes don’t compare to the ones retiring to their recliners back in Ohio.

So, with this insight, we decided to flip the script and prove that the city isn’t just for young people.

Instead, New York keeps you young.
